Azure Landing Zone
Azure Landing Zone (ALZ) enables cloud application development, migration, and modernization at enterprise scale.

ALZ provides the initial setup of all the cloud resources required to successfully run workloads in Azure.
ALZ design is based on Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) that provides prescriptive guidance on enterprise-scale architecture, best practices for your Azure control plane, and reference implementation. The Cloud Adoption Framework for Azure enterprise-scale landing zone architecture is highly customizable and varies between customers. The technical considerations and design recommendations of the enterprise-scale architecture might lead to different trade-offs, based on your organization’s scenario. Some variation is expected, but if you follow the core recommendations, the resulting target architecture will set your organization on a path to scale sustainably. Mobiz implementation of Azure Landing Zone follows CAF design principles and relies on proprietary CI/CD Pipeline consisting of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) Terraform scripts and GitHub Actions to codify enterprise-wide standards and to automate customized provisioning of ALZ services in the following design areas:
- Naming and tagging strategy
- Enterprise enrollment and resource organization
- Network topology and connectivity
- Identity and access management
- Environment management and monitoring
- Business continuity and disaster recovery
- Security, governance, and compliance
